I’m Michelle, a resident of New York City where I live with my dog and husband. My weekday 9 to 5 is focused on marketing. All other hours I spend finding ways to build balance in my life, and helping others find their balance. I value fitness, good food (mostly healthy but not always), travel, and all ways to stay healthy and happy.
In order to reach true bliss in our lives, balance is necessary. The contributors to “bliss” can come from different ways: having healthy pursuits, being mentally and creatively stimulated, being financially stable, having meaningful relationships, reducing stress, etc. The main focus of Bliss from Balance is making sure you can maintain a healthy lifestyle while balancing all of your other priorities. This space provides fun fitness ideas and easy, healthy food options (that are still delicious).
What you will not find here are extremes such as fad unsustainable diets or negative body image training plans. This space is intended to have realistic ideas that you can build into your daily routine. Especially if you are a newcomer to certain workouts or studios, or cooking with new ingredients, I encourage you to give it a try. You never know what might become a new part of your day-to-day!
I’m hoping this will be a space that will encourage you to expand your horizons and be a safe space for lifting each other up.
